Stance socks questions/Update in the thread

After thinking about it, I got some Stance socks, a brand that is new to me.
Is anyone familiar with the brand?
Will the no show socks get “eaten” by the shoes? Are she short crew socks comfortable or does the elastic bind the leg in the upper portion of the sock?
I know that they have seamless toes, which is a big pro for comfort.

I like Stance no-show socks. I bought a pack at NAS this year. They are one of the few brands I can wear without them slipping down at the heel. (Other two are Bombas, which are thicker, and Ondo, which are slightly thinner.) I often prefer Stance to my Bombas and Ondo, because the small in the Stance fit me better, with no extra fabric at the heel. (My shoe size is 7-7.5.)

I haven't tried the taller version, but I'm interested in your question, because tightness at the top is an issue for me with short socks also.

Thank you for the info, Sharan. Now I can open the no show pack with confidence.
I also get a lot of binding with the top of the socks, that is why I go for short crew but those still bind. I like Bombas but they are thick and can bind.
I will look into the Ondos as well, I did not know that brand.

Update:
I tried on one of the quarter crew socks and the top was very binding, these socks may work for people with thin legs but they definitely don’t work for me. The worse part was that 5 minutes into the try-on I noticed that I was developing a bad rash on my leg, in the area of the elastic. Now I know to stay away from this brand.
The socks went right back, the lady who helped me was very understanding and helpful.
The search for non-binding socks will continue.

Bummer the socks didn't work out but hopefully you find another style/brand that do!

For no show socks I've had luck with Bombas and Smartwool. I do not like cushion in my socks so I always seek out no cushion styles.

I have the Stance and Bomba no-shows, and the Stance were my favorite for a while, until I tried the Darn Tough No Show Hidden style. They have become the ones I reach for, any season of the year, including a recent trip to Italy and Greece when it hit 90 every day we were there. The binding at the top edge is so flexible that I never feel it, even after hours of wear, and the grip strip on the back is the most effective of any I've tried. I have the glacier/bee pattern and will probably pick up the white/garden party.

Thank you, Kathie. Although I have Darn Tough socks, I never tried the hidden ones, I thought they would be immediately “eaten” by the shoes. With your good rec I will try them with confidence. DTs have very pretty designs, I have several lifestyle crew socks, ankle socks and also exercise ones. They do bind at the top, though.
