There is a service similar to Nordies personal shoppers but instead of one store, these stylists work the whole mall! Stacy London is the brains behind this. Currently only three Westfield malls offer this service. : (

i think this is sooo cool, id use it. at least to get some additional tips other than what ive gotten here. i may have to check this out some day, the bethesda md location is not to far from where i live.

I used a local stylist as personal shopper once and it was great! I got great advise and learnt a lot! She was very good at finding stuff that suited me on every level (personal preferences, lifestyle) and challenged me. I never felt uncomfortable or that she was pushing me into some premade style that would feel costumlike to me. good experience

Yes, especially since they don't work on commission. That way I wouldn't feel guilty if I couldn't afford to buy many things. Looks like a blast!

I'd totally use this and drag my mom in with me if we had one in my mall. I think it's a great idea and hope it catches on.

There are a lot of ladies here that I think should attend a seminar and get endorsed/hired/certified or whatever as we have lots of talent here at YLF.

I saw that too and checked out the site - you can contact a local personal stylist based on your budget, needs, goals, etc. Kind of cool way to reach more clients for the stylists.

@Jenava - I think if you stop by their mall "style lounge" to get some advice, then it is free. If you were to contact them to come to your house to help you sort through your stuff or go on a shopping trip with you, then you are charged.

I hope this catches on quick and comes to a mall near me!

Interesting. I'm not sure I would use it though. I would need to feel that I had a specific goal in mind so they could help me. For example, if I were changing jobs and needed a new wardrobe.
