I was thrilled to see the announcement. I love these two and learned a lot from them. I was aware they knew the old concept hasn’t aged well and I’m glad they’re getting an opportunity to do something new.

RobinF: I also had a bit of a love/hate relationship with WNTW, especially the 360 degree mirror and the over emphasis on "figure flattery" that was a code phrase for looking slimmer.

Fan. Learned a lot. Forgot some of what I learned. One thing I remember is Clinton explaining to a MOTG she could be comfortable in things other than sweatpants and a T-shirt. I believe she ended up in a printed top with a cardi, chinos, and cute flats.

I was a fan of the original show and will be curious to see the reboot! I follow both of them on social media and am happy to see them reconcile. I like that they’ve shifted approach with the changing times.

I was such a fan and, yes, learned a lot from WNTW about conventional figure flattery. How inspiring to see the shift from "wear the highest heels you can" and "make your waist look tiny" to a more open stance!

I disagree that there are "no more norms". But I look forward to their providing guidance on how to DYOT effectively and end up looking like you meant to look. (We all know that that can go wrong; that's usually what brings us to YLF.)

Oh fun! Thanks for posting, nuancedream! I used to watch WNTW regularly too, although I stopped in 2012 when I no longer subscribed to cable. The idea of an outfit having colour, texture, pattern or shine has never left my mind, although I'm sure I've forgotten other things! I look forward to checking it out.
