That's ... "Study Survival" Spring Capsule.
Next Tuesday, I sit for my board exams in Music Therapy. Since I have not worked as a therapist, or sat in a classroom since........wait for it .......1994, I've had a lot of studying to do! The test is difficult, and I really want to pass the first time!
Most days, I spend my afternoons at Starbucks or McD's, sipping on Iced Tea or a Chai Latte while reviewing a million acronyms and techniques, note cards, Evernote clips, blues scales, guitar chords, diagnoses........ you get the idea.
1/2: Easter Sunday -- a chance to dress up for a change! This is my new BR blouse with an old VC skirt. New white tote isn't exactly screaming "Easter," but I'm enjoying it's brighter presence. Tortoiseshell pumps bookend my hair.
3. This Sunday -- debuting my new Naturalizer pumps. I love these! The weight is nicely balanced in the heel (I don't feel pitched forward) and the heels are quite stable. I'm also wearing new ponte ankle pants from WHBM. These were clearance (they should be available again in the fall) I can't say enough about the quality of the fabrication and construction.
4. Teaching voice at home: This cropped sweater is new, from Alfani, as are the flats -- I'm also wearing a blingy silver necklace at the neckline, but you can't see in the pic.
5/6: Teaching voice at home: New Loft top. This navy knit has a gorgeous weight and drape, and launders beautifully. You may want to size down. These are my old white crops, but a new tomato tote from Charming Charlies. It holds all my study stuff, even my laptop! I'm enjoying double necklace layering this Spring.
7/8: Study day! Old white crops, Loft tunic and faded denim. These slipper sneaks are new -- from Kohls!
9. Caspian makes sure I get my exercise!
Off to study! I give myself permission to read and comment on a post inbetween chapters and study tasks!
