Hm, trying to think of other options for the shirt... the suit is b/w tweed. I could try unbuttoning the shirt? I also have banker blue, citron, cobalt blue...

Fantastic suit, Rae! It's a little bit of a risk, since it's not the usual and expected sort of suit, but I think that it will stand out in a good way from the sea of boring plain dark suits for a fashion-related job.
The length looks good now, and the heels look just right with it. I would NOT go any more opaque with the tights. I think the ones you have on are great.
I prefer the shell by about a million percent instead of a white shirt.

Good luck with your interview. You're gonna knock 'em dead!

Nay voter, if you are out there, would you mind sharing your thoughts?

Can you try it with citron for me?

ooo...banker blue or cobalt.

Rae - ha, sorry that's me. I'm sick in bed and got distracted by the proffering of veggie soup.

You look so fantastic in everything you wear, but I have to be honest, the hem length bothers me. A lot. Something about it just reads 'junior' when paired with a suit...like it's a pretend 'dress-up' situation. I think you could totally rock that length if you're going out dancing or some other fun evening situation, but I don't immediately connect that hem length with 'fashion forward.'

I would consider letting the hem length out. Have you done the sit down test?

I think the fashiony suit is good for the venue. Get the hem let down and a false hem put in. Not 5 inch heels and yes, a collared shirt.

Starting a new thread, since I think some people have not seen the revised pics with the tweaks I've done per forum suggestions. The skirt is 2" above the knee.
