I was doing a little online shopping for hubby tonight. I had 3 shirts in my shopping cart at the Gap. When I went to place the order, the silver card code for free shipping was not working. So, I called the 800 number. They offered to place the order over the phone for me, and I asked if they would give me anything for the inconvenience--I had been on hold for quite a while and I was getting frustrated trying to get the code to work. So, they comp'd me 10% off. Yay! Jason was shocked that I was so brave to ask for the discount.

THEN...I was looking for a pair of classic black and white Adidas Sambas for hubby. I found them cheapest at shoebuy.com. I searched for a coupon and found 10% off. So I placed my ordered and registered my name and address in the process. When I placed the order, they gave me an additional 10% off for being a member (which I assume was from me registering??) So, I got the Sambas for $40! They were $65-$75 everywhere else!

Woo Hoo!! Hubby is gonna ROCK those shoes!
