In my pre-season culling I got rid of at least 6 pairs of shoes: ill-fitting, too high, not worn, out of style, overworn, etc.

I found myself in need of a refresh for warm weather, especially (but not only) for work. In general, I wanted color options, style, comfort, and low heels.

(PS I did not keep those booties I got at the Rack. You were all right; they were not a good replacement for my pale ones, and I don't need MORE booties.)

If I stumble across another great work option, I'll probably grab them. And I would also love a new pair of slip on sneakers.

So, here's what I've bought over the last couple of months:

Josef Seibel Bonnie booties: on sale for $99. Will be perfect and flexible for work. (I actually preferred the look of a pair of Paul Greens, but they were 3x the cost and had a slightly higher heel. These were the smarter buy.)
El Naturalista sandals: Bought in Portland OR. Great earthy red color. Much cuter on than they might look here; a little trendy with the white detailing, comfortable, and fun.
Cole Haan waterproof oxfords: Great price at outlet. In pale grey. Good for traveling now that they're broken in.
Maryam Nassir Zadeh Sophie Sandals: In sparkly olive patent leather (see pic 1 for color, pic 2 for better picture of style). Classic sandal in a gorgeous, different color from a high-end Iranian-born shoe designer. Bought on deep sale from Garmentory. I feel like these will be in style forever, and I can wear them with shorts, jeans, or a dress.

Any thoughts?
