I finally finished this. If you know how many pairs I ordered and returned (including some returns tbd this week) you'd think I was truly insane. (DH and UPS are convinced) Actually everyone here would probably understand :-). Thank you all SO MUCH for all the assistance and ideas, literally could not have done this without YLF.

My goals were as follows, and not every shoe had to meet every goal: walkable for several hours, sneakers, ankle straps, metallic, sporty feel ok, work with my black/blue/white neutrals and low volume feet. Also needed to find them attractive on my foot, which of course is subjective.

#1 blue suede espadrilles
#2 white leather keds sneakers
#3 black print canvas slip-ons
#4 Steel Blue leather slip on ..an unexpected find in the "sporty" category. I have had one pair of ankle boots by this brand (Reiker) that I wore a whole lot last fall/winter/spring that are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, so when I saw these I grabbed them. I'm guessing this brand overall is best for low-volume feet like mine.
#5 Bronze Leather Sandal
#6 Black Gladiator Leather Sandal. Was thinking of gold but decided black was better for low contrast with my darker pants.

#7 the black leather Reiker boots to which I refer above
