Here are two pairs of shoes I've recently purchased for Spring - one casual and one dressy. I think both pairs will see a lot of action once the snow is gone.
First up are my casual grey flat Rachel Roy oxfords with bright green heel and bottom sole. These are CRAZY comfortable - both with a light sock and with bare feet. They almost feel like nothing at all on but have very decent support and a soft, sponge-y footbed. The leather is very soft and luxurious feeling. They are true to size and medium width. I have a medium width foot bordering on wide and these accommodate my foot beautifully. I bought them at The Bay for $130 and I recommend them for anyone looking for a comfortable, light-weight, summer oxford. Hubby laughed and said they look like bowling shoes, which I actually couldn't deny! But I don't mind - I absolutely love them and can see them with my grey slouchy skinny jeans, white jeans and Bermuda shorts. Not sure they'd work with a skirt or dress - what do you think?
Second up is a pair of pointy toe, kitten heel, black patent leather Enzo Angiolini pumps. They have lovely circular cut outs, which give you "fleshy polka dots", plus a longer cut out on each side of the foot. Beautiful for circulation on a hot summer day. The inside is completely leather lined and feel amazing on. The best part about these shoes? I thrifted them last week from my local Value Village for $14.99 and they have never been worn. They still had the original Bay price tag of $149.99 on them! I plan on wearing these with skirts and dresses obviously, but also want to try them with various pairs of jeans because I'm loving the outfits right now with dressy pointy toe pumps and rolled BF's.
Now to sit back and wait for real Spring to arrive...
