I have decided to focus on shoes for the upcoming spring/summer season as it seems like the simplest way to update my wardrobe and I need a bunch of new shoes anyway, since a lot of my old ones are in bad state - I am pretty hard on my shoes. So the past month I have been slowly acquiring some transitional spring shoes, as I can not wear open toed ones in the lab.
In addition to the silver Ash wedge sneakers that I have already posted and worn, I got these three pairs (all keepers):
1. Sam Edelman Aster slipper flat, white snakeskin texture, with silver metal cap
2. Everybody Bardino oxfords in stone
3. DV by Dolce Vita cobalt calf hair pointy slipper flats

I am also hoping to get the following in the next couple of months:
4. MIz Mooz mint pointy loafers
5. Donald J Pliner black pointy low wedges (they come in both suede as pictured and smooth leather and I am not sure which to pick)
6. Halogen ankle strap leopard low wedges
7. Sam Edleman Sophie sandals (for out of work).

I would appreciate any input/thoughts on missing something/skipping a particular pair etc. Other than the last pair, they wold all be for work/lab, which has a strict dress code: only long pants/jeans are allowed ( no skirts, dresses, shorts, cropped pants etc.) and closed toed shoes only. I tend to work long hours standing, so comfort is a must. In terms of spring wardrobe colors for my clothes, I intend to focus on the following: all white, white&black combos, pastels (mint and blush in particular) and bright blues/greens.
