It is -20 deg. C and snowing outside. The white stuff is piled up in 5 ft. banks, and there are at least two more months of tall boots and wool coats. As I read through the forum posts, I get a sense that there is a lot of spring fever going on. Even those folks on the other side of the globe seem anxious for the next season.

I'm itching to change up my hairstyle, and yet I'm 2 months away from having it long enough for a ponytail ( something I want to be able to do when my sport season starts in May).

Fashion mags are all about flirty light weight looks and bare legs, but I still need the warmth of sweaters, wool, corduroy, socks, and boots.

To cope, I'm playing with my hair as is...changed the part to the 'other side' ( and realized there are far less white streaks!). Blow dried it straight, but full one day. Let it air dry curly another.

Next week I'm going to ban black, and grey, and see how many different outfits I can get by doing colour on colour before running out of ideas.

What to do to avoid doing something rash, that I will regret later?

I will start a look book with s/s outfit ideas, and hone down the elements for a neat capsule, identifying where the holes are in my current warm weather wardrobe.

How are you coping with 'spring fever'?
