Spring and summer shoes

I know it is a little early but today it was 82 degrees here. I took at look at my spring summer shoe options and it is pitiful. I had to purge a few. Does anyone have any experience with these.

1. Pointy toe striped flats.

2. Ankle tied black flats.

3. Snake ankle flats. I like these because they are different,

4. Slip on shoes. Again I am attracted to these because they are different.

5. Steve Madden slip on sneakers. I am going to order these.

Any advice appreciated.

I like your choices! I once tried an ASOS shoe similar to the lace ups and found the look of the non-leather was not good. But the fun thing about ASOS is that it is so easy to try and return even from Israel. Love the look of the light blue ones, and the slip on sneakers are probably workhorse material. I like the first one too. I had better leave now!

They're all cute, but if it's already 82, how will faux leather feel when it's really hot? My experience is that it doesn't breathe.

I too have been looking and thinking spring footwear. The lace ups seem to be everywhere for the season. I have not tried them on yet, but I like them a lot. As for the slip on sneakers, they seem to be a trend that is still going strong.

No experience with these styles, but I like your taste!
I did notice the first pair (Halogen) on one of the sales associates I shop with fairly often at Nordstrom, a woman of about our age, whose style I admire. They looked great, and I'm assuming they are comfortable for her, because she wouldn't wear them all day in retail if they weren't.

I just received these slip-on sneakers in chestnut last week and have already worn them. Perfect for our Texas warm winter weather.

Just a note on fit, I usually wear a 6 1/2 in open toe shoes and a 7 in closed toe shoes and I got these in a 6 1/2 based on the reviews. A 7 would have been too big for sure.

Also got these sneakers in black. I have not worn them yet but think they will be great for our weather because they are made from a mesh fabric. Just wearing them around the house to check fit I could feel that they will have some air flow.

Got them in size 7, so TTS in my opinion.

I am also curious about the experience with the slip-ons. I am considering buying Toms, but am worried that slip on shoes will be too hot for summer.

I wore a few pair of UGG slip ons (canvas) last summer and was fine in them *most* of the time. The ones I have are washable and I did wash them a few times so they may not make it through another season.

I have a suede pair of UGG slip ons that I wear in fall/winter as well. Similar to the LE pair but LEs don't fit me right.

Comfort will definitely be the test!
Pase-l like closed in shoes in the summer if I am going to be in the air-conditioning a lot. I hate my feet being cold.
