Welp, this looks another good season for my budget, and for shopping my closet, only the turquoise version of the blue works for me. I also think I am well stocked already on turquoise accent pieces.

I never understand what makes up a complete set of Pantone colors. In my head I always want to know categories so I can say there’s one of these, one of these, one from this category, etc. Also.why does each group have a share named “PMS”?

PMS stands for Pantone Matching System. Each color has a formula so it can be duplicated exactly.

Love all the blues, some of the neutrals and pinks. Pantone actually releases multiple palettes for different purposes every season. The two other fashion-related ones for Spring 2022 were based on New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, respectively:

Both contain many more colors, so no worries for those who did not much like this one. Also, both also add the same "Core Classics" palette.

*Finally* people are finally getting onboard with the idea of wearing colour year round - it only took a global pandemic, lol! (I remember this receptionist who would always comment that I would be wearing 'offseason' bright colours (like 'citrus sours'). Don't think she meant it in a mean way though - I remember her being disappointed when I came in wearing 'autumnally appropriate' brown once, lol!)

I like the general categories of both Carla's & Nuance's picks, but Tanya's 'harbor blue' officially has my heart - the ever elusive teal!

Thanks Pat. But that opens up more questions. Pantone Matching System sounds like every color should have a number, but only one in each group is labeled that way.
