Hello.

I was so excited when I read this blog post Outfit Formula: Sporty Accents because it is really in tune with my current style. I adore athleisure and sporty luxe outfits. One of my favorite things to do is take my business casual pieces and pair them with something sporty, plaid suit trousers with a hoodie is a favorite combination right now.

A inspiration outfit from the blog post that caught my eye right away was outfit #5 Fleece, simply because I hadn't tried this one yet.

Fortunately for me, today our temperatures ranged from 40F in the morning to 64F by midday.

Looking at the outfit #5 Fleece, I don't have a toffee fleece or trousers, or a white shirt, and I'm not a bare the midriff kind of gal so here's my twist on the outfit, with my favorite blues, touches of white, and my midriff covered.

I started with a white Favorite fit vneck t by Eddie Bauer and layered a blue plaid Caslon shirt over it. My Columbia fleece jacket added some warmth for the cold morning temperatures. My dressy element is the wide leg navy trousers which are paired with white Ecco Street Lite Low sneakers. A blue coach bag and blue/white stripe Boden belt finished the look.

This outfit was perfect for our transitional weather today and I can certainly see me wearing it again as we move towards spring.

Thanks for looking!
