Last year I raced in an event, and qualified to represent Canada as an amateur age grouper (55-60) in the sprint distance triathlon (750m swim - 20k bike - 5k run) that is being held in Rotterdam 3 weeks from now. My team uniform came in - from an Australian provider no less! It was tricky to figure sizes, and I think my jacket might be one size too large for figure flattery!
#1 parade uniform (to be worn with jacket from #2+3 if temps are cool)
#2+3 warm-up pants and jacket for over race kit
#4+5 race kit
I'm packing lots of accessories, since I will be bringing my bike (in a big bike box). 2 pairs of bike shoes, 2 pairs of running shoes, a helmet, and a wet suit as well as extra training gear for workouts in the week leading up to the event.
Looking forward to Angie's report from her trip as I plan my post event capsule! DH and I will have 5 days to explore, and will be making Amsterdam our home base.
