***spoiler alert*** I am going to mention what happened in the season finale; avert your eyes if you haven't watched yet!!!

Since there are several fans of the show on here, thought I'd ask ...

Did Tom betray them?? I thought it was a given based on the final scene, but seems to be a question for debate?

And will the siblings work as a team against Logan next season, or will they turn on each other ... especially Roman, who was in good with Logan up until that last moment?

Will Kendall realize he is not actually the fourth Beastie Boy???

Inquiring minds want to know what you think!

I hope the siblings’ alliance, however fragile, will stick for at least a while. That could be an arc for season 4. I do believe Tom betrayed Shiv, and that by doing so he basically became another sibling. He’s fully emotionally corrupted now and no longer capable of normal healthy love, just like the sibs.
I love the show but I’m not sure how many more great seasons they can pull off. Although it ultimately doesn’t matter who actually succeeds Logan, it is feeling a bit circular. Very curious to see how the writers build it out.

Rachy, honestly - if Sophocles, Oscar Wilde, and Larry David collaborated on an HBO show, this would be the outcome. Every scene is entertaining on its face, and multi-layered enough to keep you pondering for days ...

Jules, yes, that's a good point about he's really 'one of them' now. Another thought I heard was that in many ways, Tom is the most like Logan, in that he is (somewhat at least) 'self-made' ... that the kids are saddled with the very thing Logan hates, which is that they had everything handed to them ... by him ... circles indeed!

It seemed pretty clear to me that Tom betrayed the siblings, as revenge for Shiv's previous remarks about being too good for him, etc., etc.

If Logan passes on, I think the siblings will tear one another to bits, and their lawyers will all get rich.

Hard to say about Kendall, he's a loose, loaded cannon. I think he's only getting started with his rap career, lol.

When there's a bunch of rich people effing around, the outcome is never good!

Xtabay, totally agree about Tom, and that would actually be a fitting outcome ... lots of rich lawyers and 4 spent siblings (I won't cry if Jerri gets the last laugh in the end) ... but I am truly rooting for at least one of them to claim some shred of humanity before the series ends (plus, if Logan dies, I'll really miss him telling everyone to f*** off lol)

Agree about Kendall ... there are some points where I think there is no way he's coming out alive, some where I want to slap him for being such a d-bag, and some where I think he's going to turn Paris Hilton and try for a music career.

And please please PLEASE may we see first lady Willa at some point *turns eyes to the heavens*

Be sure to read the New Yorker article on Jeremy Strong (aka Kendall Roy) if you haven't already. He sounds a bit challenging to work with, albeit in the interest of his artistic process.

Can I just observe for one thing that the name Tom Wamsgams is so improbably brilliant? And the character is so awful but so well done!

Cousin Greg and Gerri need to come out of everything on the better end of the deal, I hope.

I sometimes feel so bad for Kendall. And then he acts like such a d-bag that I roll my eyes.

Roman is hilarious but also provides so many cringey moments.

I read the New Yorker article - fascinating how much he is kind of Kendall in some ways ... I'm not quite sure how to say it, but he holds his individual experience and outlook as being of some higher level of importance, but almost as though he is compelled to, like he can't do broad perspective somehow ... but it's what makes his character and performance so very compelling ... I didn't say that well at all, but in any case a very fascinating profile!

I hope his next role is a comedy so he can recover from the trauma of playing Kendall. Really, it's a little scary how seriously he takes it! I was shocked to learn he first auditioned for the Roman role. Kieran Culkin is so good that I just can't imagine anyone else playing him.

Yes, love the theme music, and now I want to know how Wambsgans got picked as Tom's last name. There has to be a good story there!

Tom absolutely betrayed them. It’s about time he made a move. He’s been Shiv’s whipping boy for so long. The season perfectly set up his turn on her. Plus he said earlier he’s never seen Logan get “f****d” once.

It was a nice change to see Tom stand up to the toxic Roys, and apparently he has Greg on board for the coming shenanigans. I don't have much hope that these two doofuses can withstand the Roy juggernaut, but maybe they'll blunder their way to success. (And Tom asking Greg to be his Sporus really creeped me out!). I see dark days and many cringe-worthy moments ahead, and I'm here for it.

Logan’s cranky brother is still in the background (somewhere in Canada?) — even though he disowned Greg, I suspect he may yet have a part to play in the destiny of the Roy clan. At least I hope so — he’s probably got the most sense of anyone in the whole cast of characters!

Janet, DH and I were just talking about that today!! Like - he's so against his brother, but the clues suggest that he actually has Logan to thank for his wealth, which he clearly has no problem keeping ... so what's his deal?

Similarly with Marcy ... there was some talk about her wanting her kids taken care of when Logan was making amends for being a jerk to her, but we didn't get the details of what they ended up negotiating, I don't believe ... and who is Con's mom??? So many threads left to be pulled at!
