Spinoff from Thistle: Name your five favorite pieces!

Thistle mentioned being stumped when asked to name the five wardrobe pieces she would save from a fire, and I thought that would be a super fun exercise for all of us!

Here are my five, in no particular order, off the top of my head:

1. Pink patent Kate Spade pumps with the rainbow heels
2. Mint green/dalmation calf-hair bag
3. Black and white Kate Spade jacket
4. Vintage green formal
5. Emerson Made "bee" blouse

I picked these because they are irreplaceable and super special to me. 1, 3 and 4 are total wardrobe workhorses, 2 is just super fun, and 4 is unique and has great memories of having been worn on a fantastic vacation.

As I just said on the other thread, I'm realizing that I don't really HAVE five piece that sing to me this way.

Big problem with my wardrobe!

I DO have some that are close contenders, though, and one or two that used to be like that for me...and probably still would be, except they are quite old and I have tired of them a little. I'll try to dig up some pics.

ETA: What I love about your five is that all together they really DO encapsulate your fab style. The shoes are bright, and super fun, and classic, but with a definite twist. The bag is just wild and "out there" yet still ladylike. The jacket is so gorgeous it makes me want to jump for glee every time I see you wear it, and somehow the fact that it is NOT brightly coloured makes it even more perfect. The gown IS brightly coloured; it is a festival of colour, a party, a circus. And gorgeous. And the bee blouse is funny, sweet, clever, and luxe.

I think my best five are:
1. Marc Jacobs quilted Stam: I drooled over that bag for years. It was a great accomplishment to finally be able to buy it. I don't really care if MJ becomes passé. I will wear it forever.
2. My contempo casuals crocheted multicolor sweater: I've had it since I'm 15 years old. I love it and want to be buried in the thing. I'm serious and I'm sorry for the morbidity.
3. Ultra high waisted pants and PB blouse by Rachel Zoe: By far, the coolest outfit I own.
4. Kate Spade top liner trench: I feel like a princess every time I wear it.
5. Kate Spade Cream and white bag: Everyone seems to love it!

Do we have to include handbags, shoes/boots, and jewelry on this list? Or can we just go with clothes? If we have to include everything, I really don't think I can choose!

Just five? I really can't pick just five. I guess I am doomed in case of fire: I will be agonizing there which five to pick until they all burn to the crisp!

I think I can do this! These are my favorites, if not my most worn or versatile pieces. I think I consider these irreplaceable more than anything.

Me thinks Mo likes shoes.

This is hard! Let's see.... I don't think I could narrow it down to only 5, but my black leather jacket and gray ankle boots would definitely be on the list.

my ed hardy canvas shoes with flowers
my white chinos that fit perfectly (confirmed by BF several times now)
my silver xmas dress, 100% brushed silk
my RL pearls + long pearls chain from SnØ
and there should be a jacket here but I cannot pick

MK - do you remember Tim Gunn's show from several years ago? I can't remember the name of it - I think it was only on for 2 seasons - but I LOVED it! One of the things he would always do with his clients at the start of their wardrobe re-vamp was to have them pick out their Top Ten absolutely LOVE items from their closet.

This exercise reminds me of that! So far though, I'm not "playing!"
