Easy...hot weather everything! I purged so much last year I'm really in a bit of trouble!

I need some new knickers! Every so often I have to borrow my DD's girls size ones that are for 12-14 year olds (too big for DD at this point) and though they fit they give me muffin top!

Gryffin, you are a wise woman! I have found my skinny jeans and ordered 2 pairs;)

Shedev - I know, we want to look for what we like and want not what we need. I think we need shopping buddies who like to shop for the things we don't. Then they could find us all the great things we need and don't want to look for. I volunteer for jackets and boots!! Maybe a bit of online searching would be less painless. Then you would know what things you wanted to try on, get them, get it done, then check out the pants!!
texstyle - you sound like you are in a good place of not needing much too. HEWI's are never ending. But those you always need to be on the lookout for. Good luck on finding tops and deciding on sandals!

Rabbit - I know just what you mean. For me I never spent money on snow boots or good gloves. They were expensive and I resented the money. But I finally broke down and got them and do you know what, the comfort and happiness factor is so high I can't believe how silly I was. I know the cash outlay hurts, but they make life so much more pleasant. Good luck on finding your pieces, but really it is money very well spent!! OTOH the bag and belt - well shopping and wearing them. Heaven!!
Peri - another for the hot weather support group!! Some things are just necessary for bare minimum comfort!! Good luck replenishing you capsule!! I will be beaming good thoughts and good luck to you!!
Anne - that's desperate girl!! You definitely need to replenish right now!! No muffins allowed. Scones, cakes, tea sandwiches are all a go, but no muffins allowed!! I llike gap but they discontinued my favorites. If you are not a stickler for cotton Angie had some great sounding suggestions on previous posts. Good luck!!
Deborah - that's great you found your skinnies!! Congrats!! Yes, great minds charging as one!! If one is good surely 3, 4, 5.....would be better because if you love them and will never find them again you have to buy them in quantity right now!! Lucky Brand loves me. If only they would make black jeans.....sigh.....

Lyn - Honestly, I applaud you. Wearing what you have and focusing on that is the best thing ever. But I am a huge duplicator, especially of HEWI's if I can afford them. Black skinnies are really hard to find and get that perfect fit and comfort. But I am sure when you need them something wonderful will turn up. Then, if you're like me, you can buy 3 or 4!!

Griffin you are funny and very correct. I may indeed go back for another couple of pairs. The ones I have been wearing for the last three years are no longer available. So maybe I should stock up on the new ones:)

Deborah - you know I am nodding saying you go girl!! I will not admit how many pairs of the Lucky Brand Lola skinnies I own in the same wash in three sizes. They are all gone from the website now and I am so happy I have them. For those of us, who like what we like, duplicating can really make sense. In the famous words of my mom, "when in doubt buy!!"

I'm on Team Needs a Bathing Suit. I need a one-piece in a great colour or pattern. I also need a pair of sandals and a pair of warm-weather work shoes. I think those are my only TRUE needs. As for wants, I could go on for pages!

I saw a great sleeveless silk button-front shirt somewhere recently that made me think of Suz and everyone else who always is on the hunt for things like that. Let me see if I can find it again.

Bras are an immediate need
Several pairs of summer shoes-- right now the balance sits at 0.
A pair or two of jeans I can roll up (mine are bootcuts and I wear jeans to work)
7-8 summer tops (i have two, maybe a third).
Tanks to wear as camis to be able to wear a couple shirts.
1-2 new summer skirts or summer dresses-- I want to replace my 3 five-year-old jersey knits that are my summer faves.

Ariadne - I definitely think the YLF bathing suit hunt is on for a lot of us. Such a HEWI, but when you find a great one it's a thing of beauty. Good luck on the search!! I think the sandal hunt and work shoe hunt should be easier. So many nice offerings right now!!
Elly - wow, sound like you need some major summer type purchases. Bras are tough I hope you find something comfortable. I have to get on that one too. I do like the gap ribbed tanks - they wash well and look good on their own or layered. I also bought the HL sweatshirt jacket which I love but pricey for sweatshirt material but a lot of style. Good look on tops and skirts. The online offerings look promising!! Happy hunting!

I have plenty for summer, probably too much. Summer clothes call to me more than anything, yet summer is our shortest season. I have to constantly remind myself of that. Though I did just buy a pair of cut out boots and olive boyfriend chinos . What I really need to concentrate on is really pulling from my summer wardrobe.

Shorts. I can fit jeans pretty easily but dresses and skirts are a challenge so I avoid them. That leaves shorts and even though most are jean material they are so hard for me to fit, often too tight in the thigh. And when I get the waist taken in so they fit the thigh, I can't pull them up anymore because they are too narrow to go around my bum.

Isabel - Life is bad when the underwear draw is empty!! Definitely needs to be a high priority!! Nothing better than having a drawer full of comfy ones so you can forget about it!! Road bike sounds great. Something truly fun and worthwhile to shop for!! Sounds like your summer wardrobe is in good shape!! Enjoy feeling like you have all your ducks in a row!!
Lisa - wow, that's definitely a fit problem. Maybe others on the forum will have suggestions for you. I don't wear shorts. I prefers crops and I wear Lucky Brand jeans so I can get the same style in that shorter length. That makes is much easier for me. Would it be worth chopping your old jeans into shorts, since jeans are easier to find?
