I am thinking it's time for new specs...

I am attaching a pic of me with my current specs. Any suggestions of other styles I could get away with. I love the idea of some geek chic hipster type specs but I worry they may overwhelm my face!

Any advice?

Don't know, but that style looks great on you! Are you thinking about any styles/colors in particular?

You are so pretty, Hil. Have you read Angie's blog posts on choosing specs? She often says to make sure the eyes are centred and the specs "lift" the face on the side. Also they should follow the line of the brow.

I like the geek chic thing, too, but couldn't go with frames that were super deep because when I smiled my cheeks bumped them up! So I found a sort of compromise look.

I have never worn glasses, so I can't really help you.

I do solve your current ones on you though!
