I'm waiting, waiting, waiting for the UPS truck, which frequently arrives late in the afternoon. If it is dinnertime, the drive often neglects to ring the bell or even knock. This makes me nervous because quite a few of our neighbors have had mail or packages stolen, and I live across the street from the neighborhood park so there are always cars parked nearby in the afternoon. I ordered several items on the first day--I can't believe they sent it to Roseburg, Oregon instead of to a place a bit closer to San Jose.

I did go to both Valley Fair and Stanford and make quick tours of the sale. My feet were killing me both days and I didn't see what I wanted to check out nor did I see anything else I wanted, except for a Paige sweater and a Caslon T shirt. Today I ordered four more items. I wonder if I'd had them sent to one of the stores for pick up would I have it already?

My overall impression was that except for the coats, most of the items could be worn now in the Bay area. Even on a foggy windy summer evening in San Francisco a coat might be needed, I have to admit.

I can't make YLF Collect for me today--maybe new OS. sigh. It's all cotton, which is good for here. I can wear it all year.
