...what do you think of this shoe? I like the black of course but the gray might be nice? I love metallic but pewter would work better for me than gold.
They are cute! Would a heel that high bother you, especially with the open toe?
If that is a go, I would review your wardrobe and see where you have a hole. DO you need new pewter sandals? Or would gold work better because you already have pewter? And gold bookends your light hair better, especially if you are wearing skirts in the summer and don;t have the long leg line of dark trousers.
Those are great. I like the grey (I seem to love all things grey and grey is just not that into me), but I think the gold would bookend your hair really well, as Thistle said.
OMG these are gorgeous little shoes, I agree with you totally.
Black and grey are very wearable, but I too would prefer a pewter to the gold.
I think I might order a pair, I just have to read through all of the reviews now for sizing. Have you purchased her shoes before?
I don't know which colour now
I like them. They look comfortable too. I would have no problem walking in these. I could see them styled with rolled jeans or a dress. The peep toe part is very on trend. I would get them in a hair book-ending shade, or more flesh toned.
ETA they don't exactly have flesh toned although someone like Una might rock the golden ones. I'd opt for the grey color, it looks versatile.
Ooooooh. I like those a LOT. Not in my budget, sadly, but I always find a wedge is really comfortable and easy to walk in. I love the woven effect of the straps over the forefoot! Can't help you with choosing which color, I think the metallic is nice and subtle in these.
While I understand the reasoning for bookending shoes and hair, it's just not something I consider when choosing shoes. I've always preferred silver/pewter as my metal of choice over gold. In my mind, black/white/gray/silver go together- and are the colors I like to wear- while brown/cream/gold play well together but are not usually colors I choose.
So it would be black or gray for me.
Debra, I do not have any of her shoes but I am tempted to try these.
Like them! A Garnet Hill catalog arrived in my mailbox yesterday (provenance unknown, I have never ordered from them...) and was eyeing these beauties. Pewter will be fab. Also like the Eileen Fisher dresses. How is the quality of Garnet Hill?
I have these shoes in grey and love them! Bought them last year from Garnet Hill and I look a half size smaller than my usual size (which is 8, so I bought the 7.5).
They have been work horses! I have worn them with everything from dresses/skirts to boyfriend jeans to shorts. I highly recommend them.
Parsley has these, too, and she loves them! I love them, as well. They look super versatile. I'd go for the taupe, myself, for the bookending, but I love them all.
On second thought, maybe the gold...it looks like an interesting sort of gold...not really yellow, not really rose gold, not really bronze. Or at least that is how it looks on my screen.
And I see what I called taupe is called grey....either way, I love them.
