I’ve just signed a lease in my new home—yay! I might be here for a few months doing the part of this project that must be done here, I might stay for a year and do the whole project here, or I might convince this guy to convince me to stay for the rest of our natural lives (in which case I would presumably move into a different place with him). In any event, I have a sweet little apartment in need of secondhand furniture for now.

I want a pop up couch, like IKEA’s Freiheten, a hanging chair (preferably double wide), a big desk, shelves for my shoes, an art deco lingerie chest, and I’d love to find a laundry mangle with a shelf big enough to use as a table https://commons.m.wikimedia.or.....to-license. I should get a bed too.

What internet sources do you suggest for secondhand furniture? Any tips on getting good stuff?
