Thank you! It is a strange feeling to wear a slightly different fit after so long. I put them on and had no clue how to judge the fit. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I may stop by a Chico's in the next couple days to try a size down. I'm really looking forward to wearing them. They fit my "feels like loungewear but dressier than jeans" goal.
Chico's has some things I really like and other things that just feel too "Golden Girls Go Cruising". I've had great luck there once I sort through the stuff that's not for me. I also have to say that the wash-and-wear of the Chico's things I have far surpasses anything else I can think of at the moment. I've had some button down shirts, capris, ponte pants, etc for 5-10 years, and they still look new. I also can't think of anything I have from there that has ever needed to be ironed:-)
Sterling, it hasn't been cool enough yet to wear ponte pants here, but I have been wearing my NAS KUT black and dark wash jeans a ton. I actually bought the black ones in my regular "skinny fit" size and had those hemmed to the ankle. I also bought them in a size up to wear like slim straights. LOVE them.
