Anybody tried the new longer length Schoolboy blazer from JC?

I was temped by the pewter velvet, but it is already gone in my size.
They're listed as being about 25" and a bit, which is a good length for me with pants--not too shrunken inlength, though not long. Probably the length that has the most longevity (!) , if perhaps playing it safe.

Overall I think this blazer is probably cut too hip-less for me, but wondered if the fit or look is notably different.
