I scored these jeans yesterday while I was out making a return, and they were discounted on top of discounted, plus I had a 15% coupon for my birthday month, so these ended up being $30 (originally $130).
As some of you know, I've been keeping an eye out for some patterned denim to cut off into shorts, since all the cute patterned denim shorts out there are short-shorts. I realize there's not much summer left, but I think this trend will continue into next year -- don't you think? The last time I had patterned denim shorts, I wore and loved them for years, regardless of the trends.
I actually like these even just rolled a little bit up my leg to a crop length, too. But I think I might wear them more in the summer if they're cut off into shorts. They're a little big on me, but that's ok, since I don't mind my denim shorts with some ease and slouch these days (cooler in the heat).
They're not my usual colors, but I figure I'd mainly be wearing them with a white tee or a chambray shirt.
What do you think? Good plan to hack?
