Has anyone found any really good sparkly pieces in the UK?

I've had a quick browse online at M&S, Monsoon, Oasis, ASOS, H&M, Zara but not seen anything very much.

Anyone seen anything anywhere else (or in one of those that I haven't spotted?). There's a Limited jacket at M&S that I might have a look at tomorrow.

Hi!

I was going to suggest Monsoon as they're usually good for sparkle but I see you've already checked.

I can't say that I've seen much since Christmas - I'm seeing lots of brights at the moment.

How about checking out Debenhams & House of Fraser?

I would suggest if you were looking for something specific like a metallic or sequin item etc to go to the website

and do a search.

You can then narrow your search down to whichever item you are looking for: ie cardigan, in your size & price range. Don't forget to click the bit where it says UK stores only.

I use it all the time and it is a great online shopping tool.

I love a bit of sparkle too, but it always seems to be in short supply once the festive season is over.

I haven't seen anything of late to point you in the direction of, but as an idea, if I was looking to add a little bit of subtle sparkle, I would get some sparkly ribbon, or a few metres of tiny sequins (strung together) and sew them around the neckline of a cami or vest top. This way it is customised to you and as subtle/out there as you want it to be :0)

Mrs Moo is right, the retailers remove the bling after the festive period (and then it re-emerges later into the season) but there are still a few pieces to be found. Great plains has a lovely sequin panel t-shirt which I would have picked up myself if it was machine washable http://www.greatplains.co.uk/p.....in+Tee.htm
Boden has this lovely subtle sheen skirt which is ideal for summer and a few tops with embellishment.

Also, B&M mat be the way to go as sparkle is hard to photograph.

Good point about the sparkle disappearing after Christmas!

Julie, yes know what you mean about sparkle - went into M&S this am and saw much more sparkle in person. I picked up one to try and will also keep looking.

Hello again - I've just received an email from Wallis containing some lovely daytime luxe pieces with sparkly metallic threads - really cute & not over the top!
