I apologize for the change in plans, but I'm going to have to call off going to Southern California in November unless something changes. Right now I am madly (and completely unsuccessfully) job searching and I already have an international trip scheduled at the end of July that's been in the works for a year and a half. I don't think it's likely that I will have a new job by then, but if I do, I'll already be taking time off for that trip, and I feel like it would look really irresponsible to have a second trip in early November too.

If by chance I manage to get a new job after August, I might re-schedule the November Southern California weekend, but as of now I think it's off the table.

I am sorry that I'll be missing all of you locals. Hopefully another year I'll make it again.
