@Katerina—I would hang onto those shoes. Beauties!

Oh I remember wearing some knee high square toe boots, with block heel, with low rise Burberry check bootleg trousers or olive velvet jeans, and a black turtle neck...and raisin lipstick, of course. I loved those olive velvet jeans....

Ah yes I had several pairs of those! Neither my back or my bunion would say yes to them now haha .

Fashionintern, they did! It was an angled block.

The Cat and Smittie, thank you, I will keep them for a while more

I'm with Suz! I adore the "lite" version of this trend!

Thanks Torontogirl! Since your comment, several other people have said they also had them. And I thought they were a fresh, new thing. Lol at myself. Fashion is indeed cyclical.

The boots I have that are similar have a simple chunky block heel with that square toe.

These remind me so fondly of a pair of black square toed maryjanes with those exact heels that were one of my all-time favorite shoes. I kept them long after they weren't in style anymore and would bust them out on occasion with the hope they looked funky/retro, not dated/stupid. Now I feel like shedding a wee tear that I finally relinquished them. I love me a square toe.
