Wow, Brooklyn! You look stunning! What a smart idea to bronze your old clutch, too. I’ve always been wary to try changing the color of my unworn pieces for fear of color transfer.... but I may have to take the plunge!

Brooklyn, the pants are beautiful on you. I especially love the Versace jacket and pants which is stunning. I feel the same about pants, I just prefer wearing dresses and skirts. However I have taken a leap of faith and bought some trousers this season. They will never replace the skirts or dresses, but sometimes dressy pants are nice to have too. You look elegant and like Lauren Bacall to me.

Bijou, that is your jacket. Or it should have been yours! Like you, I don't think I will abandon my skirts and dresses anytime soon but it's nice to have some variety. And thanks for the LB comparison

NM, thanks! I haven't had any colour transfer issues so far. I am careful not to store the burgundy leather jacket next to my ivory jackets (just in case).

These pants look smashing on you! Amazing in both outfits. I love your new style direction with the fashion sneakers. And that jacket! WOW. Great job with the clutch, too. You are soon going to vie with Vix as the forum's Queen Dye-it!

Thanks Suz! I will settle for Queen DIY-it, he he

Brooklyn, as much as I love your jacket, it found the right home - it is stunning on you - the perfect colour and fit.

Such a cute puppy!

Wonderful trousers and great that you have sorted out the fuss factor by wearing with sneaks.

Snaaaazzy. You look super smart.
The pants are great & the jacket!!!
I watch for those deals on YOOX, too.
Excellent score.

I am really taken with all the DIY things you and your Hubs do so well. The bag looks completely revived.

Oh, oh.... echoing everyone else, these look amazing on you. And you totally rock the wide legs with sneaks look. Great job on the bag.

Wow, those pants look great on you! I really like them with the sneakers too which isn't usually a look I'm super fond of. The DIY clutch came out great and the jacket is fabulous.

More love for that gorgeous pants outfit--it's exquisite. You look out of this world fab. Your creativity is inspiring--love the bronze bag and the burgundied jacket. You look fab!!

I love this look! I really like the silhouette you create with the more fitted tops and the jacket. So elegant and glam.

Deborah! Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are doing well

Sara, thanks. I know what you mean. I felt the same way! But this felt right for me. I think I still not fond of sneakers and skirts. But never say never.

Opaline, thanks. YOOX is a goldmine but you have to really hunt for the treasures. I am trying to talk hubs into making me another bracelet too.

Bijou, I am still going to call it my glam
Bijou jacket

And thanks KG, Elizabeth & Jane!

I am speechless with delight! The trousers are absolutely perfect and the outfits are beyond gorgeous.
You are incredibly stylish and talented. What a treat to see what you come up with.

I need to see it if he indulges! It’ll be good, I know. I wanna try that cream to recolor a bag, too!
You’re right, you have to do some prospecting there to find the gems. Also, gotta be quick on the draw when found! I saw a really gorgeous black and plaid Prada bag with no branding, just really lovely for like $260 or something but someone beat me to it! I was gonna ask for it as a bday gift from Hubs.

Opaline, I will. He is working on a bookcase at the moment. Always got a project on. And sad about the lost Prada! I recently saw a Vivienne Westwood jacket that was just gorgeous. Pure wool and a bit steampunk for less than $200. Still kicking myself for not jumping on it. Gone the next day. Sigh!

Thanks Katerina. You are my trousers inspiration

Ooh, sounds like a beauty! I feel your pain on that one.

I got a sorta pink goth (which suits my natural hybrid of hopeful/curmudgeonly/cheery/melancholy, lol) McQueen scarf there recently, a light pink gauzy silk but grey, black and burgundy embroidered roses, beetles, foxes & skulls on it. Thinking of pairing with a burgundy cashmere sweater.

* Wear more pants if the mood hits you, because those look so good w/those sneakers. Had to reiterate.
