I am cleaning out old photos from my iPhone, and found a folder of WIWs I never got to post, so figured out, why not. I am guessing that they are from November last year, as I stopped taking photos at the end of the month. Here they are, most of them have two photos with and without outerwear. As always, all the feedback is welcome!
#1 was a work outfit on a warmer day, based on Ensemble: Bootcuts, Wrap Blouse, Topper & Booties . It consists of Gibson knit blazer that many fabbers have (is this color the "marsala" or close enough?), white knit BR wrap top, charcoal pinstripe 7FAMK flares, booties in the same marsala-esque colour, and grey RM tote.
#2-3 is another work outfit, consisting of Gap grey merino turtleneck, relaxed Rock&Republic tuxedo skinnies, pewter Fossil belt, snake Pettys, silver RM satchel and white wool H&M coat. I call it coat, beause it is very thick and warm, albeit short. It is of excellent quality, from their more expensive lines but I will admit that is a semi-orphan because I can not seem to guess the right weather for it.
#4-5 is for work again, with same shoes and bag, and belt really, albeit in the different color. The components are TR Brianna's in light wash, a very interesting layered wool H&M turtleneck that looks like two layers but is one, and blush cocoon Express coat.
#6-7 is casual work day again, where I layered an inky BCBG cropped tape-yarn sweater over a silky plaid Gap shirt, white white &FAMK jeans and Gap navy tweed moto. The outfit was finished with navy oxfords and burgundy bag.
#8-9 was for a dinner out with friends, on a warm day, hence the cutout JC booties. I used the opportunity to wear a sparkly BR sweater, with Rag&Bone split skinnies and Spiegel lemming jacket.
#10 has an outerwear shot only, I think I was running errands on a weekend and wanted some bright/happy colors. I discovered that my turquoise J Crew peacoat goes really well with lilac/orchid (scarf and the bag). The rest are COH Racer skinnies and silver booties. I think the top was super cimple medium grey crewneck.
#11 is a business casual-ish work outfit, when I was giving a talk and wanted to stay away from jeans. It is in shades of taupe and cream, consisting of taupe AT cropped sweater layered over my favorite white button down at the moment, that feauters a double collar (by 10 Crosby Derek Lam), finished by skinny tauper trousers by Elie Tahari and snake Pettys. The pants are part of a suit that I am yet to wear together, the jacket is the same taupe Elie Tahari that looks stunning on Suz.
#12-13, final outfit, is from salsa dancing evening! It features an interesting H&M black halter top , that is completely backless and pretty drapey. The drapiness prevented me from using double-sided tape/sticky bra so the only thing I could think of to make it wearable was to layer it over a black bandeau. My ear is open for all the alternative suggestions! The rest of the outfit consists of cobalt tuxedo Rag&Bone skinnies and black cutout KG booties.
