Maybe spending a full year on the Ocean Park project is responsible, but I finally can articulate a few adjectives for my style going forward. Translating this to my actual life is going to be interesting, because manure and gear dominates my day, but my future style needs could be changing for the better very soon. I clearly need to buy some wide leg trousers once I have somewhere to wear them.

Style icons: Katharine Hepburn and Lauren Bacall (KH photo is my aspirational image of living life to the fullest)
Color palette: Ocean Park inspired, low contrast (but I haven't purged my black yet-DH might kill me)

• poised (self-assured, in equilibrium, balanced)

• panache (dictionary.com defines this as "a grand or flamboyant manner; verve; style; flair"; (flamboyant is over the edge, but grand, theatrical details often appeal in low doses)

• comfortable (in their skin, in their clothes, make others comfortable to be with; socially adept and appropriate)

• menswear-inspired (but not asexual; pinstripes over florals, tailoring and wide leg suit trousers)

• artisanal (not sure this is the best word, but a word to describe jewelry/accessory preferences for vintage/handmade/craftsman and pieces with stories behind them)

Now to summarize all that with a moniker. My last idea, "Hollywood cowgirl" never really worked. Kate Goes to the Dude Ranch is too long...help!
