Voila a couple of outfits featuring some of my recent purchases.

Seeing how you so many stylish ladies on the forum rock their moto jackets, I was on the hunt for a pleather jacket. I got this one from NY&Co on Black Friday. It was half price and it is also my parents' birthday gift to me. I love this jacket! I was feeling that my wardrobe was a bit outdated this winter and this jacket really allowed me to put together many edgy outfits that I completely love!

The dress is another recent purchase from H&M clearance rack. It has a super cute, exposed zipper on the back.

Another H&M dress from the clearance rack. This is my LBD that I will use in the challenge. I wore this dress once again. This time with my pleather jacket (surprise surprise!) and a gumball pearl necklace. I didn't get a picture of the outfit but I will take one when I style this dress for the third time for the casual outfit.

Are you fed up with the pleather jacket yet? Apparently I'm not! I think this outfit looked better in real life and I felt fabulous!

My husband took me to the casino for my birthday on Friday. This is what I wore during the day. It was my first time at a casino. I was pretty surprised by the plethora of gym clothes, sneakers and holiday sweaters! Needless to say I was the best dressed person on the casino floor.
For dinner and late night gambling I changed into my LBD with the pleather jacket - the outfit that I mentioned above.

Day 2 at the casino. We were going to do some shopping later on at an open air Christmas market, so I opted for a warmer turtleneck. Also featured is my new crossbody bag from Kohl's. I got it for free with a gift card that came in the mail.

Bella - I almost fell off my chair when I saw your first biker jacket look; the second one is amazing as well! The first one is such a great rocker chick look. LOVE. And I seriously cannot believe that you made that necklace. The second look with the jacket is great because it's so polished but then has that bit of edge because of the leather jacket.

My other favorite is your outfit for the office party. Such an elegant, sophisticated look. It just screams "Bella" to me.

Yeah! Bella posted. I love your outfits. That jacket is to die for and you rock it, lady! I love the first casino outfit, too. Your observations of casino attire are so funny. I don't gamble but would love to hang out there if it was a bit more Vegas circa 1960s or Monte Carlo (I hope they still dress up there).

Alecia - I hope I didn't come across as arrogant or anything. I had never been in a casino before and my only exposure to the environment was by way of James Bond movies! Naturally I was really surprised to see how casual everyone was. Even the style quotient in our local mall is higher than this casino!:) I heard though that people still dress up at Monte Carlo.

Bella, you in no way came across as arrogant. I should have been more clear. I was tickled by the disparity between your expectations and reality. I know there couldn't be a more stark contrast. I am myself disappointed by the lack of glamour at casinos, even the really high end ones in Vegas.

Casino's are such a melting pot of style because every demographic is prone to love a gamble. I stayed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and found both glamour and desperation in equal measures.

Bella, I think this is the best I've seen yet from you. That motorcycle jacket is perfection. It is fun to see you in something like this, as I often view you as more of a preppy type? This jacket seems to have romantic detailing to me... it's an intriguing combo of romantic + edgy? Also, I love how you combine the jacket with the black pants. I will have to steal that idea...

I also want to steal the dresses... and the boots absolutely ROCK. I love the color and the sheen.

Shiny - Thank you! That's exactly what I was thinking. I like my preppy outfits but my wardrobe was starting to feel a bit outdated, or should I say less trendy. The moto jacket is an instant uplift. I love that it is edgy but still very feminine, totally me!
