Today and yesterday I got some of the things I ordered from J. Crew and Nordstrom a few days ago, so I thought I'd provide a review.

Perfect-fit shirt from J. Crew:  I love this shirt!  The fit is indeed perfect in a way that button-downs have not been for me recently--it has subtle darting in the bust area and is shaped for hips, rather than being straight up and down.  I got it yesterday and promptly wore it to work today.  Read the rave reviews.  Pictures below. I found it TTS.  It's a slimmer fit through the mid-section but is cut to accommodate the bust.

Petite Teddie pants from J. Crew--these seem fine to me, though I think I'd need to properly style them to see if I can work them into outfits.  How are people wearing their teddies?  I got them in navy.

Wide-leg ponte pant from J. Crew: didn't really love these.  Maybe I'll try the plaid culottes instead.

Willow and Clay skirt from Nordstrom:  as soon as I pulled out the skirt, I realized I'd be returning it--it's covered in beading, and the beading was already falling off and beads were constantly skittering on my floor. It also runs super small.

Cece cold shoulder top:  I didn't love the material, so this is going back too.

The R&B gilet that I bought at the lower price arrived too!  Just in time for cooler weather
