I find it so helpful and informative to see what works and what doesn't when people shop, and especially during NAS, that I thought I'd share what I picked up today cross-border. First of all, I paid extra for 2 day shipping, which meant everything was supposed to arrive yesterday. I had an email about packages at the PO Box, so decided to blow down there first thing this AM. Well when I got there I realized I mis-read my emails, and the Munro black leather booties were NOT THERE!!! Ugh!!! Lo and behold I received an email an hour after I arrived home that, yes, my booties had just arrived. Grrr. I had to rush back home anyways for DS' dental appointment this AM. I doubt I'll be able to make it down for a couple of weeks, so fingers crossed that they will work. If they don't work, then NAS will ilkely be over. Oh well.
Here's what I did get - and they are all keepers.
Zella hooded top in white - love. I sized up per reviews to a medium and love it. Might be a bit looser than it needs to be, but I hate tight hoodies on my body. Super comfy and will get a TON of wear.
Zella city shorts - love. Super comfy and perfect length for me. In one shot the butt looks kind of funny but it's fine in real life - maybe just wrinkly from shipping. This and the top will be in full rotation when we camp next week. Fab.
French Connection black crossbody. Great medium size fully functional cross body. Love the length of the strap. In fact, if you were any shorter than me you might find this too long (I'm 5'7.5"). You could easily punch more holes. Oops forgot to snap a pic.
Threw them on right away, then after cleaning myself up - go Team Wear (photo 1)! Threw on the white Zella top with my PJ Jeans. Snapped the pic after DS and I got caught in a massive downpour.
What i didn't keep - the Caslon draped cardigans in Morel & Black. I didn't even try on what I ordered (medium) since I tried the medium morel in person last weekend and didn't love it - too big. Besides, I'd ordered the Helmut Lang Villous sweatshirt in black that was soon to arrive...more on that in a separate post.
I'm super happy with what I kept. Functional for my lifestyle. And since I have to go back anyways to get my booties....maybe a bit more browsing...a few little bits have caught my eye
