Thanks Denise. Do you think they are too "trendy"? That was probably my concern. I picture wearing them mostly with skinny jeans and leggings:)

Love, love, love!!!

I love them both! My feet fall out of those kind of flats but still... Makes me happy to see them.

Love the flats. Not sure about the booties - they look a little heavy but I'd love to see them styled

These are very good indeed for your wardrobe! Love the boots, what is the flower pot effect? If you can rock those boot, so can I so I will look for a pair.

Agreed--both pairs are great and the booties are so tuff and full of attitude. But I really love the flats. I was browsing through my most current Nordstrom catalog and it looks like they're featuring a ton of D'Orsay flats. I have no idea how much support they'd be for my feet, but I love the look!

I love both choices for you. I am definitely adding d'orsay flats to my wardrobe this spring/summer. If they have a high enough vamp (the toe part) and fit properly they will stay on. This is one trend I tried first time around and loved and am back for more. If I recall you do need to learn to walk in them (like clogs or flipflops) but once mastered it's easy as long as they don't rub on the heel (where there is the most friction)
THe booties are amazing, I do see quite a gap at the back but am only concerned how they fit not how they look. You are the best judge of that.

Jj my flats have a high vamp and the heel fits firmly so there is no chance of these slipping off. I found that they feel just like a ballet flat in terms of how secure they feel on my foot and how I walk in them.

I like them both and can't wait to see them in actions.
The gold accents of the booties are especially lovely!

Debs I thought the booties would work when you wear your more tailored pieces. Skinny jeans sounds right, with maybe a structured long blazer. It's just I don't see you in this look as often as when you joined the forum. Lately I see more draping from you. But if you wore a very minimal outfit (like a sack dress) the boots might serve as an interesting juxtaposition. The other thing about the boots is that the gold hardware did seem more maximal, less minimal. But again I think they could look really cool with a strict skinny jeans suit type of outfit.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Denise. You always have good insights so I was interested to know what you were thinking. The gold hardware is a bit maximal for me:) And I am a silver girl really.

Heh, well, there's always metallic craft paint!

I think they're both great, but I really love the d'orsay flats. I've been trying them on every time I see a pair but haven't found the right pair for my feet yet. I love the modern way they look.
