ETA - better reviews, still no shoes or real styling

The Boss white poplin peplum blouse is rather tight so I am returning it for a size up. I like the fabric, which has a nice stiffness to it. I also like the idea of a formal blouse that does not need to be tucked into dress pants.

The Theory suiting pieces in Niagara, as I suspected, are a good color for me. This suit is a good choice for me, in that it will be good for periodic law office visits, but I like the color enough that I will wear the pieces on other occasions. As with all Theory, I went up a size in both jacket and pants, and this was the correct move. I will need to hem the jacket sleeves and the trousers to a good length, probably making some shoe decisions first.

The Theory plaid wool pants were no good. As Angie mentioned in a comment on my earlier thread, they are both itchy and odd fitting with a very long rise that comes off as drop-crotch, or something. They will go back. They are worn with an old crop-top of mine so you can see the weirdness of their shape.

Nick + Zoe spear print sweater is a keeper. I like to have an element of pattern in my outfits so it's all the better if it comes in a sweater. Not super warm, so not a January in New Hampshire item, but will be good layered up. I like the colors, and because it is made of an unusual yarn cocktail, it has a nice drape to it. Worn with Paige Jane Zip jeans in smoke, not part of NAS, this color not at Nordstrom so just included the find to give an idea.

Rebecca Taylor peplum sweater. I am on a bit of a peplum fad, and Rebecca Taylor is one of my favorite brands for fit and flattery. This peplum starts up pretty high on the torso, which I wasn't sure would work, but I am very happy with how it looks, so it's a keep.

The print Joie Amatita B blouse has lovely colors. As you can see in the photo, it is too big for me. I'm going to exchange for a smaller size and see how that goes.

Kate Spade Spencer Court Tera handbag in Pebble. I have a terrible fondness for large handbags so I can throw all my stuff in including things like gym socks, water bottle, book without too much maneuvering. I wanted to try something mid sized and structured in either blush or grey. I was not sure what color was going to come because it was hard to tell on the website. It is a pale pinky beige and I like it enough to keep even though it is not exactly the color I was originally thinking of.
