I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I browsed the usual categories and found some things I'm rather excited to try.

  • Green FP crop top. This length should actually be right at the waistband of a skirt. I love the color and the way the fit looks.
  • Open Edit coral cropped bouclé jacket. This is a wild card, since it looks pretty boxy, but it does seem short enough to float over waistbands. I'm going to be very picky about color and fit on this. If it works, it will be a more dressy piece to go with several winter skirts.
  • Eliza J teal floral dress. I have tan suede tall boots like the model picture and love how the color is picked up in the floral. It may be shorter than I like, but still worth a try.
  • Caslon light teal t-shirt. I like these for layering pieces with skirts and cardigans. I'm full up on pastels but this is a great mid-tone color.
  • French Connection dark teal sweater. This may be a duplicate with similarly colored tops, but I'll try it anyway. The wide midriff design is terrific for my shape and can be either tucked or not.
  • Sam Edelman teal pea coat. I don't technically need this but it looks a pretty classic cut, barely mostly wool, and great color.
Note! Most of my life I've really avoided aqua, turquoise, and teal. Usually those colors are too bright/clear/jewel tone for me, and I have a hard time putting them in outfits. But last year I ended up with a couple of blue pieces that just had a hint of green - obvious only when next to something truly blue - and I fell in love. They make my eyes really stand out. Finds are at the end, another Prairie Underground hoodie and a Boden top. The top is great with both golden-brown and gray skirts. So now I'm on the lookout for more in this color family.

The shoes are a lot more questionable, but I want to try at least a few of them.

Black pumps -

I don't really have a favorite black pump at the moment, but I need to have something, especially for choir. My feet are fussy and usually my toe/foot silhouette hates pointy toes, so it's hard to find something really comfortable.

  • Sanctuary knit pump. There's a possibility the knit material may have some toe box give that will work with my toes.
  • Naturalizer Evelyn pump. This is one elegant shoe! I love those curves. Ankle straps help keep my foot in the right place, and the heel is a good height.
White/light cowboy boots - Totally not a need but I love white footwear, and I would definitely use cowboy boots.
  • Dirty Laundry - not great reviews but the price is worth trying.
  • BP Monikka - the measurements look promising; they're fabric so won't come apart but make it harder to keep clean.
  • Dolce Vita - more expensive and not white, so it's a long shot in case I really fall in love with the look and just must have.

Here's hoping everything I'm interested in doesn't sell out before I can buy!
