DS and I went to get him school clothes, and I ended up shopping for myself at Old Navy! They have some really cute new stuff in, like striped skirts and draped neck tops.

Not yet! Clearly I am not shopping in the right places, though. Thanks for pointing all of these out. I can see you in all of them.

I have to admit I have a slight horror of the joggers. They bring back memories of the 80s, less happy ones.

I'm wondering if today's fabrications might mitigate the sloppy saggy butt problems those kinds of pants always had? What do you think? I don't have any problem with loose bottoms -- don't get me wrong. But there's baggy and then there's ...slumpy. KWIM?

I do that too! I'm guilty of stopping at Joe Fresh while grocery shopping. I had to put a stop to that...

I've been avoiding the stores during the back-to-school days, although I did walk through a favorite thrift store with 50% off clothing sales and didn't find a thing.

Yes! went to return a pair of pants at ON and looked and said "wait they have some cute stuff here". That sporty red shirt was nearly sold out at our store. I really like those joggers. I did school shopping at Kohls for my DS because I had a gift card. I did not find as much cute stuff there for women.

I sized up one and I love it! Has a nice thickness and comfy stretch. Plus it's on sale.

I couldn't get all the links to open but what I saw looked cool;)

Target is my downfall:(. I go in for clothing for Master 11, or something for the kitchen, or an appliance, and what do I come out with??. Aust Target is not bad on the quality stakes and I will occasionally come across something reminiscent of my favourite designers.. And at the price point it's hard to resist;)

I did have a few things for me in the H&M cart while looking for kids' undies, socks and tees. I resisted by waiting until the extra % off sale was over and I only have an extra % off kid items now.
I've collected those track pants.

Deborah, Target is my kryptonite as well. I go for something like shave cream or lotion or a flash drive and suddenly I'm buying a new belt, a handbag, leggings and a shirt. I love that place. I have learned to avoid a little bit during back to school because of the mobs. the Target nearest our two university campuses runs out of things like towels, sheets, trash cans, and other similar dorm-need items during back to school week.

Those pieces do look fun! I occasionally find some usefull stuff at ON, mostly tops. I was at the store on Thursday and tried a VC-like cobalt tube skirt. The color was gorgeous, but the material so thin and clingy that I immediately took it off. I am hoping to check out that Beatles tank Angie posted in her Friday's ensemble soon.

I haven't been in mine, but those are so e super fun pieces! Definitely inspired by some the higher end designers.

A great way to take a new style out for a spin without braking the bank.
