Okay, the last ballet flats I ordered arrived and they are too small. I don't have time for more online ordering and I'm just going to stop looking. I'm going to have another look in the local stores when my mum comes to Berlin next week and if I don't find anything there I will have a look next week when I go shopping with my sister at home (she also still partly needs an outfit for the wedding). That's for the shoes. They will be the last purchase for a while.

Otherwise my wedding guest outfit is complete. Scarlet was so nice to send my a plum bolero she no longer needed and I'm going to wear either that one or my electric blue cardigan (totally forgot about it, it was in the sewing pile because it had a button missing) or go without topper if it's warm enough.

I've also done another closet purge and got rid of the stuff that wasn't taken out of storage for quite a while. And I've tossed my dressier high black boots and my black wintercoat. The boots were done in and in no shape to consider resoling. The coat was worn through six (!) winters now and the lining came apart, I would have seriously felt like a slob wearing it again. That however means that I finally need a new winter coat and some dressier boots or booties in fall. I do have more casual winter boots and a sporty winter jacket, so I won't freeze in any case, but it's high time to have a real look for those two items.

Both the boots and the coat will probably be expensive, so I'm done shopping for now. I'm officially joining Shannon. I feel like I still don't have enough for summer, but I think I can make do with what I have. And if I finally get around to do those little planned alterations on a few things there will be a few pieces more. Those are on my list for this weekend.

I think I just have to try to wear some of my stuff more often, not just the wardrobe workhorses. Maybe I should start doing regular WIW posts.

So please please remind me not to shop?
