It’s scarf and boot and jacket weather and that makes me happy. Just a couple of recent outfits that are nothing exceptional or different for me, but I’m enjoying dressing for being out of the house this season and am happy to be wearing my real clothes. I haven’t been wearing the sweatpant jeans I lived in last year, and that’s ok.

1. Worn to a potluck party and fundraiser for Dazzle Africa, an organization we support (we traveled to Africa with them and it was amazing). It was held mostly outdoors so I dressed with the intention that I wouldn’t need to remove jacket or scarf. It worked out great. Under the jacket is just a simple black V-neck Rag & Bone sweater. Faux suede jacket by Paige, ancient J Crew scarf, Peruvian Connection moto jeans, and DV booties.

2. Worn for work from home and to pick up hubs from the airport and go out for sushi. He was in TX for a week to see family, do some business, and go to the Rolling Stones concert with his BFF. Ted Baker sweater, cheap scarf from Moroccan street market, 7FAM Dojo bootcut jeans, and DV Bel booties. I wore the Bernardo moto insert coat with this — that coat has become my new favorite.

3. I didn’t get an outfit photo, but this is after my haircut yesterday. Beautiful but chilly day and I went for a walk after my salon appointment. New Bernardo puffer and my latest sunglasses are a good combo!

8 The view from their deck
9 Fall color in our backyard, the morning and afternoon light on this Japanese maple has been magical this year.

Feeling thankful for a beautiful fall season here in our part of the world!
