Like many I have not worn many interesting outfits lately or felt the urge to take pics. I repeat wear like hell too. But here’s a small selection of casual outfits I’ve worn to work from home or hang out with my family on the weekends.
The first looks fancier than it is. Comfy linen pants, light navy sweater, feel a tad cold and toss over scarf.
I asked and received this large silk blend scarf for my birthday after being inspired by RunCarla! Patterned silk scarves have drawn me since French chic first took over the internet but I always find it hard to make them work. The smaller ones have earned me a stewardess comment so... Seeing Carla rock the somewhat larger styles I decided to give that another try. And I really like the scarf with a neutral outfit like this.
The second outfit I’ve worn to a dinner date with the hubs (we don’t do fancy really) and to visit family when permitted. Take every occasion to dress up a little at least.
The third outfit has Carla vibes too in my imagination :). I got this shirt second hand, which I hardly ever do, and it’s a tad too large across the shoulders but I think it looks just nonchalant enough...
The two trouser outfits actually make me feel like I’m getting a good grip on what casual tomboy looks like to me and what makes me feel ‘just feminine enough’ :-D.
