Solution for noisy shoes

I am testing some new shoes around the office to test their comfort (cant post pics yet) and they are NOISY. I love a satisfying click when I walk but this is different. More like a click and stomp at the same time. Is there a solution to this? I am scowling at the idea of giving up pretty, comfy shoes because they are so loud, but it's making me very self conscious!

I had to sadly return my Beautifeel brand sandals because after getting just slightly damp they started making a squishy noise that wouldnt stop! I got to the point where I hated putting them on because of this...so if its bothering you now Im afraid it will get to you worse as time goes on- thats what my experience was...

Hmmm, I wonder if something added to the bottom, either by a cobbler or the stick-on pieces that give slick soles some grip would help. You might experiment by putting some masking tape on the bottom and heel. That's supposed to be a quick fix for slippery shoes. Maybe it would also work for shoe noise.

I have this problem with some Aerosoles shoes. They are so comfy, and I thought it was great to find nice low heels, but I honestly don't even wear them because they are SO loud.

It depends on the reason for the noise, of course. I had a pair of heeled loafers once that were terribly loud because the heel itself was hollow. Cheap construction on a not so cheap shoe:(

Can you try a rubber cover on the heel first, to see if it changes?
