Sole society?

Where have I been? Just discovered the SoleSociety website with a ton of cute looking shoes at a great price. Anyone buy directly from them? I know some of their shoes are sold via other outlets like Nordstrom as well.

Yes Nordstrom sells their shoes.

At first they operated like other Shoe Clubs (negative option business model, like Book-of-the-Month club). But now they don't. That's a big plus on their side. I almost signed up for ShoeMint, I thought they had some nice shoes and the best quality of all of the shoe clubs. (Shoe Dazzle and Just Fab are some others.) The way they charged your card every month, unless you opted out (the "negative option") in a 5-6 day period at the beginning of each month, was a big negative to me so I never committed.

I have thought about try some from Nordstroms. My feet are hard to fit and so the Nordies free returns are key for me. Maybe if you find they work for you at Nordies order direct in future for sale prices or limited availability items. The Nodrstrom prices seem the same so I would just as rather give Nordstrorm the money for their customer service, and free returns (when they almost surely dont fit my feet)!

That's interesting, CocoLion, I'm glad they went away from that policy. I never would have signed up for that with shoes, think of all the returns!

I just looked at their policies and if you order from them directly, shipping and return shipping is free, but if you return something and want a refund instead of store credit there's a $7.95 restocking fee. A little annoying but not more than I've spent to return things to places that don't have free return shipping, so not the end of the world for me.
