Sold on skirted leggings...

I ordered the same ones as LisaP and they just arrived. I am surprised to find I love them! They are just as she described, a nice thick weight with good stretch, and I can't feel the waistband at all. I worried they would feel too girly but the leather panel, straight shape and short length makes me feel more punky 90s. What do you think?

I agree! They look very cool on you, and I think you'll have a great time incorporating them into your edgy, RATE style. These were a good choice for you, with the leather panel and zipper.

Firecracker, I hope so - you and a couple of others pushed me over the edge. Will be a fun MOTG look or for the plane. How do you think they would work with OTK boots?

Nice! I think the OTKs might work although those are black, right? I think a low contrast boot would work the best but definitely give them a bash! I think the length is great--just not sure about the contrast. I need a visual.

They look great for all the reasons you mentioned and just seeing them in the photos I can tell they must feel wonderful in the wearing, especially not even being aware of a waistband. Now, you're Punky CorpoRATE!

Well I love them on you!! I wear mine with OTK boots all the time. Short skirt = high boot IMHO!! The leather panel is so fab. I hope you enjoy them. I get a lot of use out of mine!! Did you try them with the Joie Tambrel? Do you have the Gap cableknit tunic sweater (another favorite) but I don't remember if you have that one. You have so many fab tops I can't remember what you've got!!

I agree with Gryffin that they would look great with OTK boots. The skirt falls at a good place on you to wear the two together, imo.

Here's a picture with my OTK boots - they have a low heel. Too chopped up? The leggings are darker than they look in this picture.

Gryffin, good suggestions! I didn't think this look would work with longer tops but I think it does... Will have to play around. For me it's mostly going to be a more casual item, but the color and style will fit right into my current closet.

The effect does look a little chopped in the photo, but I imagine in real life it looks dynamite! I like the feel of the outfit--there's a laid-back, chic integrity--and I think the black leather panel, which isn't really showing up in this photo, makes a big difference in drawing the eye up and down.

I'm wearing mine as we type! I like mine best with my VC moto boots which have a medium high shaft. Just the right amount of boot . Funny, I was thinking today as I put them on that I likely could have taken a smaller size, as they are already a little looser than they were last time I wore them (or, she says hopefully, I've lost a few lbs!) . I love them.

YOU LOOK AH...MAZ...ING in the skirted leggings...I like the over the knee boot...I wear mine with tall boots...to the knee not over...I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine...
This is such a classic example of you must try something on before you issue a verdict against it...smile...

These look awesome on you. I'm wearing mine as I write, for the fifth day in a row. I can't seem to take them off! I even wore them out Saturday night and dressed them up. They look great on you! I have ordered those, too. I may rue the day, since I am not a leggings lover and I don't have your or Lisa's fab gams, but we'll see. I missed delivery today so will pick them up tomorrow.
