I am contemplating these 3 soft blouses for spring/summer this year. They are all short sleeved. I have plenty of tanks and sleeveless with my FL finds last year. Knowing my wardrobe and colors, do you think these would all work well? Combined, they will take up my budget through mid May. That leaves me with a white skirt and black shorts to find with the last of May and June's budget. Seems feasible to me.
I have to be realistic that I live in a jeans/hoodies/t shirt world and PB blouses would look very out of place, not to mention they are not my personal style. I hope these are soft enough but still cohesive with my style and existing wardrobe.

I really like the first and the third top and think that they would work great with your existing wardrobe. As for the second one, the color is gorgeous but it looks a little like a T-shirt to me. Is it woven or knit? If woven, then I would go for it as well,

Mo I think these look good. #3 is hard to see but I get the idea. I like the colors and the shapes of these. I can see them with jeans, skirts and or shorts really. The different colors and shapes provide variety too.

Thx, Tanya. It is a woven chiffon front with knit back. The others are both wovens. I have enough knits to clothe me and the whole forum I think lol.

You look good in blush. I like the draping on the Modcloth one. No help on the budgeting though.

I really like the first two, and I think the third one is lovely. It seems like the dressiest of the bunch--does it fill a gap for a dressy blouse? Agree with Anna that you wear that color very well (also love you in that bright blue).

Mo - #2 is very much on trend as you describe it. I've seen them everywhere. I like #3 too. Are you still good with ruffles, I guess, right? So then I say, BBQ on all three.

Yes, Jonesy, I realized the other weekend that I had nothing to dress up the BF's level when he's wearing a Canali button down and sportcoat. My knit tops look dressed down to say the least. I have the jackets and shoes to elevate an outfit, but few blouses to speak of.

Zap, yes, ruffles and I, in moderate doses, are on great terms
I am soooo scared to BBQ before work starts - argh. But I'd hate to lose out on any of these. Of course, watching the snow swirl out my window does not help my feeling that the golf course won't open until May. Eek.

#1 is a no brainer for me. #2 is awesome because it is a great color and simple shape! #3 looks lovely and intruiging but alas it is so tiny... I can see it properly.

Well, I was encouraged and pulled the trigger on #2, which I'd been watching for over 40 days lol.
The blush blouse can be seen larger through the link a few posts down in the thread. It's the most $$ but I think it's so interesting and a perfect color for me.

All three look beautiful, stylish and apt for the rest of your wardrobe.

I like that you've chosen quite different vibes for each of these (the black is extremely versatile for dressing up and down, plus a neutral; the blue is bright and verging on sporty, but can dress down dressy; while the last one can be full-on romantic for eveningwear or can soften a pantsuit for work or go on a date with jeans). Full of admiration for how well you've thought this through!

I love #1--and #3 if it's a good color on you (a hard shade to wear, I think).

Instead of #2, how about something like this--maybe in "parsley," which looks like a nice emerald green to me! Just a thought . . .

Thanks Velma! It is lovely in green. But I already pulled the trigger on the cobalt. I am hesitating on the others for now. I might leave the black alone since it's not the summeriest of colors. And I am hoping the blush stays in stock long enough for me to wait it out a few weeks to catch up to my budget :/ Darn having a budget!!
