Wow! These shoes are hot! I looked ridiculous in my sweathshorts and running tshirt with them on while cooking dinner last night. Sorry no pictures of that. I also wore them for a few hours today at work. I wear heels or wedges fairly regularly, so my feet are used to them. However, the comfort level of these is phenomonal so far.

My 8th grade girls were drooling over them. Though I'm not sure what to make of that since they have odd taste at times. LOL

Ok, bad camera phone pictures that I had a student that came in before school to hang out take... I planned on wearing flats this morning, but saw these and wanted to see what they'd look like with this skirt. They were so comfortable I decided to wear them instead.

As for the outfit...any constructive criticism? (I realize the photo quality might make that difficult.) I ended up buttoning the jacket. It seemed like there was too much volume with the bottom of the blouse and the jacket. Buttoning seems to have pulled it in some. My thrifted skirt is super comfortable, but it could stand to be a bit smaller I think.

I'm curious -- do you tell your students that you take pictures to post on a forum? Just wondering! You sound like a great teacher. I remember we only wanted to hang out with the "cool" teachers before school.

The shoes look great! Love the nude color! I like your outfit and don't think you have too much volume going on because the skirt is fairly slim fitting. I suppose you could try tucking in the blouse?

I like your color combo, too! RE: volume, I think a tucked or more fitted shirt might have solved the volume-on-top issue, since the jacket is one of those fun little cropped guys.

Oh, and can I wear nude fishnets with these? Or is that a no-no with open-toed shoes like this?

Chelle- yes, kids can have odd tastes, but anytime you get a compliment from them it means you've done great IMO. They are very keen on the difference between "mom wear" and "cool" so I would take their compliments very highly!

And they look fabulous on you!!! I'm not sure about wearing the fishnets. I have worn sheer black hose with opened toed shoes and didn't feel that I was committing a heinous fashion crime, as my toes still showed through, and that might be the case with the fishnets.

I think I need to agree that that shirt is a bit volumous with the jacket. In fact, I'm wondering about that much volume with a pencil skirt in general. That outfit would be perfect with a more figure skimming top or blouse.

And finally I have to say bless you a hundred times over for teaching 8th grade! It takes a special person to deal with those creatures You must have that special gift.

Oooo, I love those shoes! I can't believe something so hot is so comfortable.

Regarding your outfit, I think there is a volume balance issue. I'd either substitute a snugger jacket, or wear a tighter top under that jacket. Colors are nice!

Chelle, I don't which is cuter, cooking dinner in your fab shoes or having your students take pictures for YLF! Both images are making me smile! LOVE these shoes on you!
