As far as mechanics, I joined a ZOOM meeting with 8 participants on Saturday each on our own computer in our own closets with our own beverage of choice (naturally). Now each of us lucky recipients has a bag of the spoils with her name on it from each of the folks (5) cleaning out their closet. All the bags ended up on one of two peoples' porches, outdoors, with our name on it. I'm picking up my bag today (Monday) while wearing gloves, and then I'm just going to leave it in the car for a few days, because there's no hurry in bringing it in to the home. When it comes in the home, while wearing gloves, the items can be dumped directly into the washer, and the reusable bag will be wiped down with alcohol, just like when we buy groceries.
Yes, it's a repeat of all the quarantine protocol, but it all has been a fun experience, to share with friends when we all are bored and lonely!
