I’ve been off YLF for a few weeks due to a family crisis. The immediate situation is resolved and although things will never be quite the same, life is moving forward. I'm now trying to find my way back - not just to YLF but to what I'm referring to as my "new normal".

Some YLF-related positives that came out of the last 5 weeks are:

  • The blog and forum is a tremendous and fun source of distraction when things seem overwhelming. I often stopped by and looked at your smashing early summer outfits and kept up with Angie's blog posts. It kept me "in the know" and feeling connected. Unbelievably therapeutic.
  • My wardrobe served me incredibly well through a variety of locations/situations. I kiss the ground Eileen Fisher walks on - her comfort coupled with style proved to be a life saver.
  • I received the three EF items I mentioned herehttp://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....d-question and couldn't be more pleased. Nothing like a happy package from the UPS man to boost your spirits! I'll be showing them to you next week when I hope to start posting regularly again.
  • I also ordered and received the most beautiful bright lemon yellow linen knit EF sweater. It arrived yesterday and is about the cheeriest thing I've ever seen. Never underestimate the power of color (although I'm still and black and white wardrobe gal at heart).
  • My Steve Madden peep toe booties have proven to be complete work horses and I'm considering purchasing the same pair in black (I have the nude). My black Clarks sandals are becoming more and more uncomfortable and I think I'll replace them with the SM. I don't have an issue with style duplication - especially when it comes to comfy feet.
With the pace of the forum now, there's no way I can catch up on reading and replying on individual posts. Just know that you are ALL SO BEAUTIFUL and that this special place means more than you know
