So this is WIW for graduation.

I decided on the same dress for both, the recent family wedding and my son's graduation. I decided that if I needed to climb on my chair nobody would be looking at me anyway.
First is what I wore to the school President's reception. The print of the dress does not photograph as nicely as it looks in real life.
Second is my outfit for graduation. I have a nice wide brim hat that I did not wear because I did not want to block the view of the parents who sat behind me. Also, I decided on my wedge peep-toe Cole Haans because those worked better on the early morning moist grass.
Third is so you get an idea of how early I got there. I got the best seats in the house, I was there even before the cleaning crew arrived!
Fourth is a casual day WIW, you can see my wide brim hat, I love it although the weave could be a little tighter.
Fifth are some new favorites, lucky that I cannot find them were I live!

Joyce, you looked lovely for both occasions. How thoughtful of you to forego your wide-brimmed hat so as not to obscure the view of others.
I love your casual look,too - very nice - and those little characters in pic. 5. look very moreish.

These are lovely looks. I particularly like the first outfit (probably because I can envision wearing it myself wink). It's a really lovely print and I like how you've paired it with the thick sandals and black jacket. Congratulations on your son's accomplishment!

Joy, I will try the pink dress with the linen jacket the next time I wear it, that is a good idea. The initial plan was to wear the pink dress with the black jacket and black shoes but those did not work out so I switched them in the last minute. I kept the linen jacket for grad so that I would not risk getting it stained and then not being able to wear it for graduation which was in the daytime.
