Christyg, I think you have a fabulous sense of style--you make it look so effortless to be chic and polished every day. There aren't any duds in any of the ones you posted. Maybe you're just bored because your style is moving in a different direction. You liked the cape with the leather skirt and not the pants--maybe you're moving toward more skirts and dresses? (I know I tend to get more bored in trousers and always reach for dresses/skirts first). And the Chanel style jacket and cobalt pants outfit is amazing--I think maybe you're just itching for more bright colors in your wardrobe! Maybe incorporate more bright colors instead of grey and black. Like white or colored pants instead of black. And it looks like you're gravitating to more florals and feminine styles in your second batch. I think both groups of photos look equally great but even when you have killer style, it's natural to want to shake things up a bit now and then! You look great all the time!

ETA: Maybe you need a pop of neon! MaryK does neutrals with neon. You could try a citron belt or orange handbag.

I honestly think it's the weather playing a huge factor. I'm so, so tired of layering.

I think you look great, and Anna is probably onto something here - it seems like you have no summer (you are in seattle, right?), at least this year, which probably makes it feel as if you are wearing the same cold/wet weather outfits for the longest time.

I am absolutely in awe of your collection of outfits, and especially like your shoe choices.

I can't thank you all enough for your comments, observations, ideas and encouragement!

Suz, great observations - maybe I've been feeling more adventurous lately and so the "tried and true"s feel boring.

bj111, thank you! This was one of my best finds!! Found it at Nordstrom on sale for about $30 several years ago!

Rita, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your really kind words. Your comments mean a lot and I want to say thank you for that! Especially that last bit. Certainly helps keep things in perspective!

rachylou, those oxfords have been tough to style, but I do love them!

steph, great observations. Definitely helps me narrow down what's appealing to me versus what isn't.

scarlet, you were one of the few to give that shirt some love when I posted the K/R! I think you're right about finding some way to get some edge in there.

Natalie, I could only hope to incorporate color like Maryk (and you!).

Anna, I think you may be exactly right. Yuck!!

Makrame, yes I'm in Seattle. Spring in Seattle is always dreary and I usually say that the nice weather doesn't start until July 5th...but enough already! I'm ready for some sun!!
